Tomeet the requirements of modern engineering construction forinnovative and entrepreneurial qualities in construction managementtalents and to promote students' potential in these areas, theJiangsu Civil Engineering & Architectural Society held the finalsof the '11th Jiangsu University Students Construction ManagementInnovation, Entrepreneurship, and Practice Competition' onNovember 11, 2023. The competition was hosted by Nanjing ForestryUniversity, the Construction Management Professional Committee, andthe Construction Economics and Real Estate Professional Committee ofthe Jiangsu Civil Engineering & Architectural Society. Studentsfrom renowned provincial universities offering ConstructionManagement programs, including Southeast University, Nanjing ForestryUniversity, Nanjing Tech University, and Hohai University,participated in the event. Across the province, 89 entries advancedto the semi-finals of the project category, with 51 reaching thefinals, while 38 teams competed in the skills competition finals.
Threestudent teams from the Construction Management and Engineering Costprograms at Sanjiang University participated in the finals of theResearch Report Competition, the Glodon Skills Competition, and theCarbon Emission Skills Competition. They ultimately secured one thirdprize and two excellence awards. The list of award winners is asfollows:

TheJiangsu University Students Construction Management Innovation,Entrepreneurship, and Practice Competition meets the demands ofmodern engineering construction for innovative and entrepreneurialqualities in Construction Management professionals, fostering theinnovative and entrepreneurial potential of students in this fieldacross Jiangsu Province. Moving forward, the Department ofConstruction Management will continue to encourage students toparticipate in various national and provincial competitions toenhance their ability to absorb and apply knowledge. The departmentwill also strengthen faculty mentorship to strive for even greaterachievements in future competitions.
