OnNovember 16, 2025, organized by the Jiangsu Civil Engineering &Architectural Society and co-hosted by the Soceity's ConstructionManagement Professional Committee and Construction Economics and RealEstate Professional Committee, alongside Nantong University, the 11thJiangsu Provincial Young Teachers Teaching Competition forConstruction Management Programs was successfully held at NantongUniversity. This competition brought together outstanding youngfaculty from provincial universities, including Yangzhou University,Nanjing Tech University, Nantong University, Jiangsu University,Jiangsu Ocean University, and Changzhou University, for a highlycompetitive event. With a core focus on enhancing the teachingproficiency of young faculty in Construction Management, thecompetition was divided into multiple categories: "EngineeringProject Management and Engineering Contract Management","Engineering Economics and Engineering Cost Estimation",and "Real Estate and Other Courses", providing acomprehensive evaluation of teachers' overall capabilities incurriculum design, teaching organization, and methodologicalinnovation.
TheSchool selected young faculty member Chen Zixuan to participate inthis teaching competition. In the highly competitive "EngineeringProject Management and Engineering Contract Management"category, thanks to his solid professional foundation, clearinstructional design, and outstanding on-site performance, Mr. Chenultimately secured the second prize. This achievement fullydemonstrates the high teaching standards and professional competenceof our School's young faculty and serves as a testament to theSchool's ongoing efforts in advancing teaching reform andprioritizing faculty development.
TheSchool attaches great importance to the development of its youngfaculty team, actively encouraging teachers to participate inteaching competitions and academic exchanges while continuouslydeepening the mechanism of "promoting teaching and reformthrough competitions". By refining the teaching and trainingsystem and optimizing the allocation of instructional resources, theSchool will further enhance the overall quality of education,providing stronger support for cultivating high-caliber, appliedcivil engineering professionals who meet the evolving needs of theindustry.
