Faculty from the Department of Construction Management Participate in ASIIN Accreditation Seminar in Shanghai

Tosteadily advance the preparations for Germany’s ASIIN accreditationfor the Construction Management program, the Department ofConstruction Management of the School recently dispatched afour-member team, comprising professors, academic leaders, departmentheads, and key faculty, to Shanghai for a five-day Seminar onEuropean International Professional Accreditation from October 13 to17. The training, held at the Shanghai Science Hall, was hosted bythe Sino-German Industry-University-Research-Application InnovationAlliance.

Theseminar provided systematic training on core topics, includingEuropean accreditation systems and standards, application procedures,key points for writing self-assessment reports, and modularcurriculum design. Through this intensive period of learning andexchange, faculty members gained a profound understanding of the coreconcepts and specific regulations of international engineeringeducation accreditation. This experience has laid a solid foundationfor the Construction Management program to align with internationalstandards and proceed with accreditation preparations in an organizedmanner.

Achievinginternational accreditation is a vital indicator that a program'seducational standards and talent cultivation quality have metglobally recognized benchmarks. It not only significantly enhancesthe international reputation and competitiveness of the program, butalso serves as a powerful engine for the continuous improvement ofcurriculum systems and teaching models. The School will use thisseminar as a catalyst to fully launch and optimize its accreditationpreparations, systematically review existing systems, and draw on thesuccessful experiences of leading institutions, to ensure that theConstruction Management program successfully passes the ASIINaccreditation and achieves a comprehensive enhancement in educationalquality.
