
Theindustry-education integration teaching model is a crucial pathwayfor cultivating applied talents. To accelerate the development of theConstruction Management program as an Integrated Industry-EducationBrand Program within the School of Civil Engineering and to enhancethe alignment between talent cultivation and societal needs, theSchool held an unveiling ceremony for the Industry-EducationIntegration Practice Base in collaboration with Nanjing GemdaleProperties Management Co., Ltd. on April 24, officially marking thebeginning of a new chapter in deep cooperation between the twoparties. Attendees included Meng Wenting and Yin Yuanyuan, HRManagers of Gemdale Properties, Wang Xibin, Secretary of the GeneralParty Branch of the School of Civil Engineering, Bai Dongmei,Assistant Dean, and Sun Jing, Deputy Director of the Department ofConstruction Management, as well as graduating class counselors. Bothparties reached a strong consensus on deepening industry-educationintegration and jointly cultivating industry elites.
Duringthe unveiling ceremony, Meng Wenting, HR Manager of GemdaleProperties, detailed the enterprise’s training system for campusrecruits, covering customized pre-job training programs, systematiccareer development planning, and mentorship mechanisms, andemphasized that the company would establish a growth platform forstudents featuring the deep integration of theory and practice.Secretary Wang Xibin provided the corporate representatives with acomprehensive overview of the students in the Department ofConstruction Management, highlighting their professional learningachievements and career intentions in the field of propertymanagement, and articulated a firm vision for delivering high-caliberprofessionals to the industry.
Followingthe ceremony, both parties engaged in in-depth discussions regardingthe specific implementation paths for industry-education integration,and planned to collaborate on the development of internship andtraining bases, the joint construction of curriculum systems, and theinvolvement of corporate mentors in classroom teaching. SecretaryWang Xibin stated that he expects the industry-education integrationmodel to further expand career opportunities for students and injectnew vitality into the development of the property managementindustry.
