The8th Jiangsu Provincial Young Teachers Teaching Competition forConstruction Management Programs, organized by the Jiangsu CivilEngineering & Architectural Society and hosted by SuqianUniversity, was successfully held online on November 13, 2022. Threeteachers from our school participated in the competition, securingone first prize and two second prizes.

Priorto the competition, the three teachers, Sun Jing, Yang Jun, and MaoYante, selected key teaching points and challenges from theirrespective courses as competition entries, aligning with thecontest's content and requirements, and engaged in activepreparation. Simultaneously, the School organized a review meetingfor trial lectures. Attendees including Dean Hu Xiamin, AssociateDean Hou Yuying, Professor Shen Ling, Assistant Dean Bai Dongmei,Department Director Hao Yalin, and Deputy Director Huang Wei providedvaluable comments. They offered extensive feedback and suggestions tothe three teachers across four dimensions: teaching attitude,instructional content, teaching methodology, and educationaleffectiveness, from which the participants benefited greatly.

Thisteaching competition aimed to promote the professional developmentand instructional proficiency of young faculty, enhance teachingeffectiveness and educational quality, and strengthen mutual learningand exchange among young Construction Management teachers in JiangsuProvince, successfully achieving the goal of 'promoting teachingand reform through competition'.
